The strategy consulting firm Neovian Partners has supported Sparring Capital by carrying out the buy-side Strategic Due Diligence on Afitex Group, a manufacturer and distributor of geosynthetics with commercial presence in North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific
Founded in 1992, Afitex Group is specialised in the manufacturing and distribution of geosynthetics, products made from polymeric material for the purpose of separation, protection, filtration, reinforcement or drainage of soil and surfaces, which achieved a turnover of €36 million in 2022, of which over half of sales are outside France.
Neovian Partners conducted a strategic review of the group and its markets, particularly by analysing the depth and the dynamics of the geotextile, geomembrane, geogrid, geodrain and georeinforcement market segments on a French, European and international level; the development perspectives of new types of solutions (recycled, biodegradable, eco-friendly solutions); the competitive environment and the demand trends by market segment, including the underlying markets’ dynamics.
